Dr Davin Lim MBBS, FACD

Dr Davin Lim is a Cosmetic and Laser Dermatologist.  His undergraduate degree was from the University Of Queensland, post graduate Specialist training was undertaken in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the PA Hospital in Brisbane.  Further laser training was undertaken in the United States and in South East Asia. His speciality interest is in the field of laser dermatology, acne treatments,  chemical peels, BTX and skin cancer management.  He is an expert in laser management of acne scars, pigmentation and vascular conditions. Over the past decade Dr Lim has published and presented in International journals and meetings with over 20 credits to his name and oversees the Laser and Cosmetic Division of Westside Dermatology.

Dr Shobhan Manoharan MBBS, FACD

Dr Shobhan Manoharan completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland.  He subsequently undertook specialist training in Dermatology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, the Queensland Institute of Dermatology and in the United Kingdom.

He has published extensively in international peer-reviewed dermatology journals, holds a visiting consultant position at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and is a senior clinical lecturer with the University of Queensland.

Dr Shobhan Manoharan’s subspecialty interests include; acne, procedural and cosmetic dermatology, skin cancer surgery and teledermatology.

Dr Belle Cominos MBBS (Hon), FACD

Dr. Belle Cominos graduated with honours from the University of Queensland in 1985. She then went on to study dermatology both in the United Kingdom and Brisbane before obtaining her fellowship as a member of the Australian College of Dermatologists in 1994. Dr Cominos is a general dermatologist with a sub-special interest in paediatric dermatology, acne, and rosacea. Dr Cominos is also an experienced laser operator.

Professor Peter Soyer MD, FACD

  • International Authority on Mole and Melanoma screening

  • Chair of Queensland Dermatology
  • Professor Of Dermatology, University of Queensland

Prof Soyer’s main interest is dermoscopy of pigmented lesions. He is considered one of the pioneers of this non-invasive diagnostic method worldwide and is an international authority on this technique of early melanoma detection.  Utilising this tool and his wealth of experience, he will be conducting Brisbane’s most specialised diagnostic melanoma service at Westside Dermatology- Professor Soyer’s Mole and Melanoma Clinic.

Professor Peter Soyer is the Inaugural Professor Of Dermatology at the University of Queensland.

Dr Adrian Mulholland MBBS, FACD

  • General and surgical dermatologist

Adrian graduated from the University of Queensland and undertook his specialist training in the United Kingdom, the Mater Hospital and Royal Brisbane Hospital.

He holds VMO positions in both the Mater hospital and Royal Brisbane Hospital, and is involved in teaching of registrars and junior doctors. He held the position of the Director of Dermatology Training in 2009-2010. Adrian’s subspecialty interests include skin cancer surgery and skin cancer screening.

Dr Asoka Herat

  • General and Paediatric Dermatologist

Asoka graduated from the University of Melbourne. Specialist training was  undertaken at Greenslopes Hospital , the Royal Brisbane and PA Hospital. Dr Herat also trained and worked as a Consultant in the United Kingdom, recently completing her subspeciality management of skin diseases in children. She has published in several international papers.

Dr Herat’s sub-speciality interest is in the field of Paediatric Dermatology, including the treatment of atopic eczema and genetic conditions in children. Her approachable and friendly personality with a wealth of paediatric expertise is an invaluable asset to the group.

Dr Jennifer Wells MBBS, FACD

  • General Dermatologist
  • Women’s Dermatology

Dr Wells has been within the field of dermatology in the Western Suburbs for the past 10 years. After completing her medical degree from the University of Queensland, she undertook further studies in dermatology in Edinburgh, completing her Fellowship in Brisbane. Dr Wells has a subspecialty interest in skin cancer diagnosis and management.

Dr Kavita Sriprakash MBBS, FACD

  • General and Paediatric Dermatologist
  • Skin allergy testing subspecialist

Dr Sriprakash graduated from the University of New South Wales, her Dermatology training was conducted at the prestigious Oxford University in the United Kingdom and at the Royal Brisbane Hospital . Kavita’s speciality interest in in the management of skin conditions in children and in skin allergy testing. She conducts patch testing and is the head of the Skin Allergy Clinic at Westside Dermatology.

Dr Shiva Baghaei

Dr Sheva has practiced as an international dermatologist for over 12 years.  She joins Westside Dermatology as an Internationally trained Dermatology Fellow with a sub-speciality interest is in tropical and infectious diseases of the skin, and  the surgical management of skin cancer.

Dimity Radcliff RN

  • Laser and Cosmetic Nurse

Dimity is a Registered Nurse and brings to the practice her respected expertise and knowledge. Her sub-specialty interest is in cosmetic dermatology and procedural dermatology. Dimity ranks as one of the most talented sclerotherapy (vein treatment) injectors and laser operators in Queensland.
 

Meg Moore RN

  • Surgical and laser nurse

Meg is a Registered Nurse and has worked in the field of dermatology for over 25 years. She has extensive training in plastic surgery nursing and her specialty interest include surgical dermatology, acne treatments, and photodynamic therapy.

Krys Luszcek

  • Aesthetic Nurse

Krys has over 25 years nursing experience in facial cosmetic surgery. In the last 12 years Krys has focus on non surgical procedures using injectable fillers.

With all this expertise she has found her niche as a highly trained nurse injector specializing in anti ageing techniques and treatments.   She believes in taking a holistic approach to anti ageing by focusing on all areas of the face whether there is a loss of volume, elasticity or permanently creased skin.   When these issues of ageing are addressed as a whole there is more balance and harmony in the face.

Nigel Harris RN

  • Nurse Practitioner
  • Surgical nurse

Nigel is a nurse practitioner with over 20 years experience in skin surgery and procedural dermatology. He maintains a public appointment at the RBWH on a part time basis and has a Master of Nurse Practitioner Studies from the University of Queensland. Services provided by Nigel are eligable for medicare rebates.  For those patients who do not have a regular GP or a current referral, Nigel is able to provide a detailed skin assesment and referral to a Westside Dermatologist. Other services provided by Nigel include writing PBS prescritptions and repeats, performing skin procedures and obtaining specimens for pathology, implimenting skin management and  wound care plans, educational support pre and post treatment, development of a preventative healthcare plan for your skin and seeing patients in their own home where needed.
