Davin

Dr Davin Lim, MBBS, FACD

Educated at Toowoomba Grammar school, Davin undertook his primary degree at the University of Queensland, Specialist training at the Mater hospital, Princess Alexandra and Royal Brisbane hospital in addition to overseas training in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Over the past decade Davin has published and presented in International peer review journals and meetings with over 20 credits to his name.

Medical dermatology interests include genodermatoses (genetic disorder of the skin), photodermatology, connective tissue diseases, acne and rosacea. Procedural dermatology interest include, photodynamic therapy, BTX, laser, IPL, skin cancer surgery.

Dr Lim also oversees the Brisbane Specialist Acne Clinic.

Belle

Dr Belle Cominos, MBBS (Hon), FACD

Dr. Belle Cominos graduated with honours from the University of Queensland in 1985. She then went on to study dermatology both in the United Kingdom and Brisbane before obtaining her fellowship as a member of the Australian College of Dermatologists in 1994.

Initially Belle combined work as a private practitioner and as a visiting medical officer at the Royal Brisbane, Mater Misericordiae and Rockhampton Base hospitals.

Her private practice in the western suburbs of Brisbane has been growing over the last 10 years. Dr Cominos is a general dermatologist with a sub-special interest in paediatric dermatology, skin cancer, acne, and rosacea. Dr Cominos is also an experienced laser operator.

Dr Adrian Mulholland

Dr Adrian Mulholland. MBBS, FACD.

Adrian graduated from the University of Queensland and undertook his specialist training in the United Kingdom, the Mater Hospital and Royal Brisbane Hospital.

He holds VMO positions in both the Mater hospital and Royal Brisbane Hospital, and is involved in teaching of registrars and junior doctors. Adrian’s subspecialty interests include skin cancer surgery, and cosmetic dermatology.

Jennifer Wells MBBS, FACD

Dr Jennifer Wells MBBS, FACD

Dr Wells has been within the field of dermatology in the Western Suburbs for the past 7 years. After completing her medical degree from the University of Queensland, she undertook further studies in dermatology in Edinburgh, completing her Fellowship in Brisbane.

Dr Wells has a subspecialty interest in skin cancer diagnosis and management, including Photodynamic therapy. 

Dr Asoka Herat MBBS, FACD

Asoka graduated from the University of Melbourne. Specialist training was undertaken at Greenslopes Hospital as well as Princess Alexandra and the Royal Brisbane Hospital. Dr Herat also trained in the United Kingdom. She has published several international papers in the field of dermatology.

Dr Herat’s sub-special interest  is in the field of Paediatric Dermatology, including  the treatment of atopic dermatitis, and genetic conditions in children.  Her approachable and friendly personality with a wealth of knowledge is in invaluable asset to the group. 

Shobhan

Dr Shobhan Manoharan MBBS, FACD

 

Dr Shobhan Manoharan completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland.  He subsequently undertook specialist training in Dermatology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, the Queensland Institute of Dermatology and in the United Kingdom.

He has published extensively in international peer-reviewed dermatology journals, holds a visiting consultant position at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and is a senior clinical lecturer with the University of Queensland.

Dr Shobhan Manoharan’s subspecialty interests include; acne, procedural and cosmetic dermatology, skin cancer surgery and teledermatology.

Dimity and Meg provide the highest level of specialist nursing care to the practice. Together they provide a combination of expertise, experience and thorough patient care.

Our nurses are readily accessible and work closely with our dermatologist to provide post procedure care to patients. They also assist with the phototherapy and photodynamic therapy treatments in the practice.

Dimity and Meg are trained to provide accurate diagnosis of your skin type and discuss the pros and cons of your current daily skin care regime.

Dimity is a Registered Nurse and brings to the practice her respected expertise and knowledge. Her sub-specialty interest is in cosmetic dermatology and procedural dermatology. Dimity ranks as one of the most talented sclerotherapy (vein treatment) injectors and laser operators in Queensland.

Meg

Meg is a Registered Nurse and has worked in the field of dermatology for over 20 years. She has extensive training in plastic surgery nursing and her specialty interest include surgical dermatology, acne treatments, and photodynamic therapy.

 

 

Krys

Krys has over 25 years nursing experience.   During this time she has specialized in Ophthalmology and cosmetic facial surgery.   In the last 12 years Krys has focus on non surgical procedures using injectable fillers.   She further develops her skills by regularly attending national conferences and workshops.

With all this expertise she has found her niche as a highly trained nurse injector specializing in anti ageing techniques and treatments.   She believes in taking a holistic approach to anti ageing by focusing on all areas of the face whether there is a loss of volume, elasticity or permanently creased skin.   When these issues of ageing are addressed as a whole there is more balance and harmony in the face.
