The foundation of this program is to improve skin texture and tone, with the use of the latest technology in cosmetic dermatology- that of Fractionated laser resurfacing, combined with a home kit containing Vitamin A and AHAs.

Fractional laser induces thousands of micro-punctures whilst leaving surrounding tissues intact. This allows the skin to heal much faster than if the entire skin was treat at once. Fractionation stimulates collagen production in addition vaporizing both superficial and deep pigmentation. It promotes the skin’s healing process to create new, tighter tissue, with improved skin texture.

A series of 3 Fractional laser treatments are performed every 2-4 weeks, giving clients the flexibility of completing this program in 8- 12 weeks.

Prescription Vitamin A and Fruit acids used as a home kit compounds this simulation of collagen between laser treatments.

The goal is to improve overall clarity, texture, tone and overall appearance of the complexion. Conditions expected to improve include-

• Brown spots and pigmentation
• Melasma
• Freckles
• Fine wrinkles
• Roughness and sunspots
• Skin laxity, dullness and altered texture
• Mild scarring. (Moderate to severe scars,-scar revision is advisable)

As a guideline, 98% of patients will have a good to excellent improvement in the conditions outlined above, depending on the skin age. Your dermatologist will give you a realistic and accurate prognosis before you undertake the Radiant skin program.

Yes! The exceptions to the rule are patients who are pregnant (no Vitamin A allowed) and those who have recently completed a course of roaccutane.

This program is suited for adult skin of all ages and all skin types including dark skin.

Recovery takes place in 48 hours. After Fractional treatment the skin is slightly red, however this settles down within a few hours. We provide patients with a special moisturiser which accelerates the healing process over 2 days. This program is considered a ‘weekend procedure’- done on a Friday, patients return back to work on a Monday!

Cost of program is $1290 - this includes 3 light weekend micro fractional laser peels. The package price also includes the vitamin A cream and home glycolic acid peel for the duration of the treatment.
